Since 1994 I have worked for conservation in several countries:

National Park Waddensea | Germany | Sweden | New Zealand | South Africa | USA | Ecuador | Papua New Guinea |

1998 - 2002

For three summers I worked as a research volunteer with New Zealand's Department of Conservation to study the ecology of endangered endemic bird species, Kiwi, Kokako, Robin, Mohoua, and Saddleback. I monitored how breeding success was affected by invasive mammalian predators, and how birds re-introduced to an island without mammalian predators adjusted to their new environment.
