Since 1994 I have worked for conservation in several countries:

National Park Waddensea | Germany | Sweden | New Zealand | South Africa | USA | Ecuador | Papua New Guinea |

2003 - 2004

For one year I worked as a volunteer research assistant for the Wildlife Conservation Society at two remote research stations in primary rainforests of papua New Guinea. I conducted research on frugivorous birds at a keystone tree species, studied the largely unknown dragonfly fauna in two areas, carried out constant-effort mistnetting of understory birds, and assisted local students with the design and implementation of their research projects.
